        Re: Pasta set

If anyone does enquire please ask for the 240mm diameter with a volume of approx 7 to 8 litres

There are 200mm diameter ones that are also available "these are to small" IMO

I wasnt able to get a baccarat one cheap, but K-Mart has them for $50 in their homemaker brand. 24cm wide, 17cm deep for the pot. The one I got had metal handles too, but was older packaging and couldnt compare to the newer ones. I also saw one for $50 at Homeart, its the cookwell brand, but the pot was 20cm deep which might affect the temps?

              Both sizes will be OK

For the kits we are going to use the Arcosteel 8 lt pasta set

Went to Sams Warehouse in South Aust and grabbed the pasta set, Its $49.95 24cm dia and 16 deep.
The set for $25 isnt a set its just the pot (well what they have now is).
They do have a better looking 24cm pot for $20 but its not a pasta set.
After following this design for a while I have decided to jump right in.

Received a Tiffany Turbo Oven as a present, got an old 12V wiper motor and I will see what I can come up with in the way of a paddle design.

                To do.
                • Build a base
                • Drill the pasta set
                • Make my paddle
                • Fit it
                • find a source of silicon tube

I may well have to get in touch with KK to obtain some parts as his do make it look very professional, but I have to have a go first.

Many thanks go to KK for his design. Just hope I can do it justice.

i saw some at sams in Brisbane for $20 (pasta set)

they were very thin SS.... considered grabing but the finish was very bad on them
