Hey all,
This is CS Member "Runfast"s First Corretto roast profile with the CS DMM and datalogger, he emailed me the .csv and i pasted it into intellidepths excel spreadsheet......here are the results, they are mainly for Runfast, but i thought id post it on CS so others can offer advise too
First of all, awesome job! the DMM and Datalogger are amazing tools, and they will introduce a whole new dimension to your roasting!
I found in profiles with the corretto on the DMM and Datalogger.... tended to appear a little lumpy in the curve just like yours, this is i believe to do with the nature of the setup, probe sometimes exposed to hotter direct air as the beans get flung around the pan.
Your climb to FC to me looks good! FC in 12 ish mins @ 194C GREAT!
Your climb from FC to SC appears to be a little fast, with no real noticable change in the profile....try this, as rolling FC hits, lower the temp of the gun or raise it away from the beans slightly to get the temp climb down from 15C/min to about 3C/min to SC, around 5-6 mins from FC to SC is a good starting point.
Otherwise it looks like your having fun and thats what its all about
