Oil collection at Husk collection Duct

Ok so i am kind of new to roasting (about 5 months) and id like to think i know what i am doing (just a little bit). My roasts are consistent and i know the maintenance of the roaster back to front.
However, lately while i have been roasting i have noticed that at about mid roast, drops of what i can only describe as coffee oil-water begins to drip out of the husk collection duct and it gets worse and worse as i continue to roast into my 3rd roast before i need to clean.
What is wrong?? Im thinking that there is an accumulation of husk at the top of the collection duct and is stopping the vapour from escaping however i am not sure. Has anyone experienced this before? I am not entirely sure what i should do so if anyone knows, i would appreciate the help .

In roast every week on a 12kg drum roaster with a friend and i have found now that the weather is getting cool that there is more condensation....this drips down the front of the roaster from the ejection flap.

I have also found the same thing with my Hottop at home. A lot more condensation on the rear filter and the odd drip down the rear leg?

Im not sure exactly whay your roaster is doing this but maybe my similar experiences will ease your mind a little?

From what u describe though... its much worse! And yeas it is feasable that the chaff is blocking some of the airflow?

Is there a difference in profiles between the first, second and third roasts? And what size is the roaster in question?

Thankyou, my mind is a little better off now! So yes, the weather idea does make sense because it did not do this in summer at all. Its not too bad but basically there is about 20ml of liquid by the end of the third roast and from what i can tell there is no difference in the roasting profiles when comparing to previous roasts. Having said this i roasted 3 different types of coffee this morning and they all seemed to be the same profile as previous roasts. The roaster i use is a 15kg Has Garanti, my baby!

I am a bit the same I roast outside about 200m from the Ocean so chaff removal on the hottop needs more than just a tap out sometimes also I normally do a full strip and clean to remove built up oils every 6 months or so (Cafetto works a treat) as chaff gets into all sort of strange places it shouldnt.
