Ok so i am kind of new to roasting (about 5 months) and id like to think i know what i am doing (just a little bit). My roasts are consistent and i know the maintenance of the roaster back to front.
However, lately while i have been roasting i have noticed that at about mid roast, drops of what i can only describe as coffee oil-water begins to drip out of the husk collection duct and it gets worse and worse as i continue to roast into my 3rd roast before i need to clean.
What is wrong?? Im thinking that there is an accumulation of husk at the top of the collection duct and is stopping the vapour from escaping however i am not sure. Has anyone experienced this before? I am not entirely sure what i should do so if anyone knows, i would appreciate the help
