  • Breville BB270 ---> Can it be a ROASTER W/ HG ??

    Just dig up old BB270 bread maker. Not sure this is ok to be roaster W/ Heat gun. Absolutely new to home roasting, hearing many CSRs here talking about Mod e.g. separate the heat element, move heat sensor ....... ..... Just wonder, can it be used as it without modification?

    Also, I lost the stiring paddle attached at the bottom of the pan , any suggestion to get it back to life!!

    THanks everyone.

    Hi Charles,

    Check out this link:  http://coffeesnobs.com.au/YaBB.pl?num=1164028430
    The Breville BB250 and BB280 are listed in the above link.
    Can you find a setting to give you more than 18 minutes of uninterrupted stirring? If so should be a goer but would be wise to move the heat sensor from its original location.
    I bought an as new paddle from the Breville factory shop in Smith street Fitzroy Vic.
    Many CSrs are probably using Breville BB270s and would be able to reply to your post with specific info. Im currently using a modified Breville BB400

    Good Luck
    Lindsay
