Hi all....
About 5 years ago I made my extremely el-cheapo barbecue drum roaster: An old Milo tin which I drilled out with hundreds of holes, and slid it over a rotisserie driven by an old electric car window motor.
I am sad
to report that after all that long, faithful service, it needs a spare part.
Well... the lid no longer fits snuggly on the rim. So, out with another Milo tin lid, drill a hole through its centre for the rotisserie bar.... and we are off and roasting happily again.
There of course will come a time when the whole contraption needs replacing
.... and I dearly would love to return the barbecue to its rightful state as a...as a...as a meat barbecue.
