Hario RCR-50?

Hi,

Has anyone used one of these before?

It certainly looks pretty and being made of inert glass is a big positive. Does anyone know anything about these? and the use of alcohol as a fuel for the roasting?

I think you have about summed these up - "looks pretty".

I havent used one, though if I recall correctly, there was one being demonstrated on the whotube and it took forever to roast about enough beans to make a cup of coffee.

Agree with Den....

Its pretty but theres no way I could spend that long, expending that effort for so few beans. Id much rather buy dome pre-roasted from Den, Andy or Chris..... 8-)
