You should drop-in some coffee when you get the double header tuned-length extractors for the Faema.

Will the tuned-length extractors help my extraction? :-?
Will I need a balance pipe for better balance?
And should I use a 4-2-1 system for improved midrange or a 4:1 for more top-end?

Yes! lets work on a presentation for the major chain stores, we can list your popper mod bling next to poppers . . .

Nice - would not be the first time that coffee has played a major role in a revolution.

Refound this thread so decided it was a good place to immortalise my popper.
So for those who missed it elsewhere, here is my Crazy Popper in all its glory.
Fitted tailpipe, flame decals and little coffee bean stickers.

                  Thanks.

I havent lowered it but am planning on raising it for better airflow underneath (input).

                    Re: Popper Bling

Maybe you can fashion some sort of stand with the shop vac sucking from underneath. Drill some holes near the top for increased air throughput.

TG do you remember the size you bought for the Crazy Popper?
Or did you like Grendel just walk into an Auto store?

                        Re: Popper Bling

                        I walked into a workshop.

I just measured it again for you.

They had a piece of 2 1/2 inch SS tubing lying around and cut it to length for me.
We judged by eye and it turns out to be 13cm exactly.

With the odd bean still managing to escape from a 100g batch, an extra cm or 2 wouldnt hurt.

They flared the 2 1/2 inches out to 2 11/16ths for a fairly tight fit into the top of the Crazy Popper.

Ive since taken the top off mine so the chimney is a bit loose now in the roasting chamber (the plastic surround is a smaller diameter hole).

This isnt a problem though as Ive wedged it in with screw clips (see pic).
