It still needs a cake tray in between to seal the whole chamber for better temp stability. It runs at around 90% duty cycle at max temp (250). :-/ Taking around 12mins to SC for 100g, 20mins for 200g, havent yet tried anything in between.
This really does look like a viable alternative to using a HeatGun with the BM and capable of really superb results. That Indian Tiger Mountain roast looks absolutely spot on mate 8-). Thanks for the info and the piccies,
I reworked my drum for my rotiserie convection drum and used some woven stainless mesh with 3mm holes in it. I put a lb of zambia AA in it and this is the result... Ray.
I think I feel upgradeitis coming on........ I have idea juices running through my head again, once I build it Ill post it...... they really are coming to take me away ha ha to the funny farm where life is wonderful all the time.
The green beans and the hot air go in here, then the drill does the rotating.
