This roaster is handmade in Taiwan and the fit and finish looks so professional. Ive done a bit of digging around and only 60 odd of these have been made. 3 internationally. 2 in HK and 1 in USA (Ben from Barismo picked it up in Taiwan whilst visiting family).

It uses a SS drum with 2 metal fin agitators inside @ 50 RPM. Powered by a portable ceramic heat butane gas stove. Has a coffee sampler, 2 temp monitors (1 K type amongst the bean mass and an analogue gauge), has a chaff collector, bean dumping chute, smoke stack.

I think this goes for about $650 USD w/o shipping costs.

Amazing what comes out of Taiwan - Coffee roasters are starting to be a speciality of theirs!

Its just one guy doing it himself. I think it initially started as just making a roaster for himself and a few mates...which has turned in to 60....3 of which have made their way overseas. 2 across the sea to Hong Kong and 1 to the USA (bought it Taiwan)

Huky is the name of his fave dog. (Was it meant to be Husky...or did he name is husky Huky?) lol ;D
