Re: Diedrich Infra Red 3kg Roaster
Today was my last day at work and early next week Ill be signing a lease for the premises at Taren Point. Shortly thereafter (from the 11th February) Ill arrange for Dudley to be moved there, along with everything that goes with him.
As for the elimination of smoke and odour, I finally settled on the unit below that relies on 14kg of activated charcoal to do the job. Pros are: that the outlay is a hell of a lot less than an afterburner; the council is happy, which should translate to happy neighbours; its portable (40kg on casters); plugs into a 10amp power point and electricity consumption is the same as an 80 watt light bulb. Cons: the filtration material will need to be replaced on a regular basis for around $300 a pop.
So much to do...but all exciting. Stay tuned for a roaster-warming invitation!
