Id go $51.51 myself, to beat people like you Viviane.  

Also, dont forget after placing your bid theres a "confirm bid" page to get past.

So you have to allow for that to.

You could also open a 2nd window so you can refresh and watch in the first one and have your "confirm bid" page ready to go in the 2nd.

If all goes well youll only have to hit the confirm button in the last few seconds and voila she is yours.

This is where a site like justsnipe becomes good value.
You can set your maximum, tell it the item number and how long before the end you want to place your bid (like 15 seconds) and then you dont get sucked in to the one more bid syndrome if youre not the winner.

Also, add 10 cents to your last minute bid. If the other guy places a bid of $50 and you place a bid of $50.10, then you win and he doesnt have time to increase his bid.

Youre forgetting the secret of Ebay bidding.

NO bids at all until the last 10 seconds. you just push the price up otherwise .............

normally the winner makes one bid only, at the last second.

I brought my Expobar Barista on Ebay.

there were 2 bids only. both in the last 1 minute.
