Ah there is just a never ending list of pun options is there. I will let you get away with that one after your stressful auction today. So what bling options do you have for it?

          Probe insertion point?

          Where do I drill Corretto?

Seeing that you have the same model I thought it best to follow your advice!

            Hi Grendel,

Congrats on the new bm. I dont have the Country but another Breville and I drilled about 1.5 cm from the base of the pan, low enough to ensure it was exposed to the main bean mass.

I use 300g green so you might want to experiment with the amount you would normally roast and then work backwards in terms of where you drill.

Mine comes in just under the element and about a third of the way up the paddle.

Looking forward to hearing the results.

was it from the front, side, back or underneath the popper?

                Re: Breville Country Breadmaker

I drilled mine in from the back so that it was out of the way of other things I was doing.

I dont think it really matters from which side, as long as it suits your set up.

This thread details what others did, http://coffeesnobs.com.au/YaBB.pl?num=1159680974/105, around p8 ff.

You are not getting nervous about wrecking your $30 investment are you?

                  Re: Breville Country Breadmaker

                  $30 for the BM
$62 for the multi-setting heat gun
$12 for the drill press stand

                  Roasting 300g at a time?

                  Priceless.

Ive just finished polishing the teflon off the blade, so its days making bread are over anyway.

I should be ready for a first roast this afternoon after I reconfigure the roasting trolley to accomodate the new friends.

                    Great progress there grendel...

Ebay to roast beans in less than a day... wow!

Yep 300 grams and then some... its the way to go IMHO

                    Good on you Belinda! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Hey Grendel, where did you get the drill press stand for $12?

I have been looking but havent seen one yet.

Hey Grendel, as per http://coffeesnobs.com.au/YaBB.pl?num=1158893099 thread you should also take at least .7mm off the end of the paddle, to stop beans getting caught between the paddle and the bowl, which will eventually cause the paddle to come off.

                          Re: Breville Country Breadmaker

Bunnings have the drill press stand (no drill just the stand).

Roger that Belinda - Ill grind a bit extra there!
