    Give Phibes4000 a fair go.  ....
Thanks for sticking up for me - but I dont really care what pedantic people who take forums way too seriously think.  My posting was simply an observation given that this is a discussion about Behmor roasters in australia.  People - get back to the roaster; ignore my earlier post as I clearly should have spent hours reflecting and meditating on the seditious nature of that observation and never have thought about posting it...  I wil try to edit/censor it as its sooooo inflammatory... (edit - damn its locked so I guess its Hansard now)

Back to the roaster....Do you all manually remove any stray bits of chaff that is still on the beans? I have found when pouring the beans in to my grinder a few days post roast that there are still bits of chaff.

I always dump my beans in to my bean cooler and blow off any left over chaff there is all ways a small amount left in with the beans.. 8-)

          Cheers Gra..

A bit of chaff wont hurt unless its burnt black.

eg: In fact some varieties have more chaff than others after roasting. The geisha often leaves a heavy white line on every bean

Is there another shipment coming? Looks like a great deal and wished I was looking when this package came out.

              thanks,

had my first problem roast the other day, accidentally forgot to switch to PS2 while roasting 350g of the Gambella Naturals. On PS1 lets just say i got the Millennium Falcon effect when it hit first crack and went break neck speed into second. going to cup it in a few days and find out the exsact results.

The other day I swear I saw 2 behmor for sale, now I cant see that thread in Hardware For Sale. I know they were sold but I was curious as to why they were being disposed of so quickly after being bought, was going to PM the seller but now I cant find who it was. Anybody know who it was?

PS. Its entirely possible Im being completely blind, but I read through the page 3-4 times. :

                                ...about a week I guess.

They are off the boat and will be cleared through customs on Thursday.  We then have to pick them up from the bond store (GST and Duties were paid today) and then get them to the sparkie for certified electrical safety test & tag.

With any luck he has finished testing them by early next week and then we can start express shipping them out.

Pricing will remain the same but due to higher freight costs (new year price increase they tell me...hmmm) the BeanBay-credit will change from $50 to $20.

Still the worlds cheapest Behmor package and comes with 2.5kg of beans, $20 credit, $5 FairCrack, electrical safety tagging and free FAST freight to any Australian street address for a total of $399.
