So a play on words

I like the idea of giving it a Turkish name - but thats also because Im living in the Turkish part of Southern Bulgaria at the moment and have been learning the (stunningly beautiful) language for the last 4-5 months!

Dennis already took Osman.

I like KKs reference to fire - but you need something simple(ish) otherwise it wont stick... How about:

Ate[ch351] (pronounced atesh; which simply means fire), or
Ate[ch351]i (pr. ateshi; which can mean of fire, or even fever!)

There were several Osmans. The first was Osman I and there was also Osman II and III. You could call it Mahmud after the first leader of modern Turkey or Osmanoglu after the family name of the Ottoman sultans.
I think KKs fire-breathing dragon sounds ...err.. cool
