    Hey ozscott,

Can I suggest you use a finer grind or updose a bit more... Looks like the shot is a little pale...  I normally go for a thinner, tighter pull. This is perhaps why you are getting grassy flavours... Under-extraction.

Ill try post pulling a shot from my EM6910 tonight and show you. I may even doing a Naked shot as well

Hey Marc could you also post some other pics of the 6910 as well if you havent posted elsewhere. Id like to have a look.  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Thanks mate - much appreciated. I had to resort to my phones camera which has pretty poor colour saturtation. I will use my Canon next time. When finished the shot is rich caramel with hints of darker red/brown.

        Keen to see your work.

        Cheers

Is there any tins that would fit the crazy popper straight away just buy eating the food inside a can?
I bought an asparagus can that I only had to cut the bottom and top open and it went in with a little manipulating. From memory I think it was edgell brand but not 100% Didnt bother eating the canned asparagus just chucked it, but if you are a fan happy eating!
What do you mean by manipulating the can? Squeezing the bottom to make it smaller? :-?

Using a pair of tin snips, make a cut up the side of the can about 40-50mm long (depending how long your can is). Then make a cut about 3-5mm parallel to that one, and then VERY CAREFULLY remove the piece of metal in the middle. Then you squeeze the bottom of the can together and put it into the popper.
            Hope that helps.

You can also use kitchen shears to cut a single slit halfway up the can, then gently squeeze the bottom of the can to allow the can to overlap on itself. Be careful, or you might cut yourself in the process.

Due to all my tools being in Newcastle, with me being in Sydney, I had to have a Magiva moment with my chimney and my can was just a little bit too small so would slip through. So I used an old style can opener and used it to crimp the rim of the opened can ina few places so that it fattened up a little and was able to squeeze it into the opening so that is was fairly snug.

But if you have tin snips (or equivalent) I would certainly go a slightly larger can and do what has been outlined above. Was more a case of working with what I had with mine and has been fine for me on the few occassions I have used my popper.
