Hi all,
A while ago I posted a question about moving a roaster and was asked to put a few photos up of the move. The move finally happened and here are a few photos, unfortunately I was a little distracted and didnt take many, and no good ones. There is also a photo of a couple of roasters I didnt buy, see if you can spot them!
Its a Renegade 5kg with profile control system, in needs of a bit of a clean but otherwise is ready to go. Its in storage at the moment, still figuring out exactly what I want to do. I was looking into getting a second hand small batch roaster when I was pointed this way and before I knew it Id bought the thing with no way to get it home, nowhere to store it and no experience on a real roaster. At least they were/are nice problems to have and it got here safely - the first few turns with it strapped to the back were a bit hairy, but in no time I was swinging the back out around corners as usual... yeah right. I drove like my Granny for 900kms!
My plan is simple, buy a couple of bags of coffee and learn how to roast.
All the best,
