    Hi all,

A while ago I posted a question about moving a roaster and was asked to put a few photos up of the move. The move finally happened and here are a few photos, unfortunately I was a little distracted and didnt take many, and no good ones. There is also a photo of a couple of roasters I didnt buy, see if you can spot them!

Its a Renegade 5kg with profile control system, in needs of a bit of a clean but otherwise is ready to go. Its in storage at the moment, still figuring out exactly what I want to do. I was looking into getting a second hand small batch roaster when I was pointed this way and before I knew it Id bought the thing with no way to get it home, nowhere to store it and no experience on a real roaster. At least they were/are nice problems to have and it got here safely - the first few turns with it strapped to the back were a bit hairy, but in no time I was swinging the back out around corners as usual... yeah right. I drove like my Granny for 900kms!

My plan is simple, buy a couple of bags of coffee and learn how to roast.

    All the best,
    Matthew[img][/img]

Would think that truck would be quite top heavy, did you get on to two wheels around some corners?
Congrats Matthew on your wayward purchase. Am sure there are many here that can assist you along the way. All the best

Only a few times Gary, but Id just snap it back around with a little park brake action.

Thank you, wayward is an apt observation!

Sounds like something I would do..... Good luck with it. How is it coming along? Done any roasts yet?

ah the forklift ....I wish I could have found one of those to offload my 5kg Toper, instead had to recruit men from the local fishing village ;D

Sorry about that, it was only luck that let me get it!

Depending on your price range Peter @ Wolff Coffee Roasters might be able to help you. Unfortunately his were out of my league however he pointed me in the direction of St Ali, so definitely worth a shot.
