Popcorn Popper and Nut Roaster on Amazon

I was looking on amazon for coffee roasting stuff and found a couple of popcorn poppers/nut roasters.

Would the following devices be ok to roast coffee?
I was thinking of also trying to pan roast coffee to get a better understanding of the whole process.

These have been around for a Donkeys Age mt - Including the use of a TO with the Crazy Popper. If you do a search of the Web youll get thousands of hits.....
