If still a bit fast you should add holes to the bottom to let more cool air in.
    Thanks TG

Times are very fast, 4.5 minuted start to finish, will add some large holes, and maybe even an old computer fan to increase flow if thats not enough.

    Looks good.

    How are your times?

    Quick & Dirty Popper Roaster

Some snobs may consider this downgraditis, I decided that I would like to have a roaster that can do small batches, my KKTO cant do much below 250 to 275 grams without building a new roasting pan. So I did a very quick and dirty popper roaster build.

    • Buy a Target popper on special cheap.

    • Unscrew the green top cover.

    • Fit a 175mm section of 75mm OD. aluminium tube (an off-cut from my pool-cover roller). This aluminium tube is 72.4 mm ID.
and is a perfect fit on the popper tube.
    • Roast 80 grams Yirg (total time from purchase to completion of roast 45 min).

Downgraditis, no way, this is a great little roaster, good fun and fast. Probably better with 100 grams of beans.
