Need some Behmor help.

    So I have done a few more roasts and dropped the weight as suggested, 200g 1/2 P2 Start. Much better! Have since dropped another 10g and seems to be better again. Nice and dark, no burnt smells, actually smells like coffee!

    Thank you all for your help, I didn't know what I needed to adjust. Now I need to start again on the pound setting.

      You will also notice on any roaster (from popper to commercial drum) that the ambient temperature on the day comes into play too. Mid winter roasts will be longer, peak summer roasts will be shorter and with some knowledge of the roaster you will be able to made those slight weight adjustments to suit.
      ...or build an air conditioned roastery like I have

        Which is why (regardless of what others say about not being able to use the Behmor inside, personally I think you just have sucky wifes/OHs/husbands LOL) I roast in my kitchen with the aircon on which never really differs all year round

          Ditto, I do the same. On the cooktop under the exhaust fan. It's a bit messy but the missus cleans up after me and she's quite happy.
