  • No its not just you Australia's not listed. I've contacted Aillio so let's just wait and see what they say.

Me too. Hopefully when cleared ECA can distribute them with the tryers installed.

From what I've read, anything coming out of the factory from now on* will have the trier plate preinstalled.

        • They've added Australia to the list of countries for shipping the tryers. It's approx $90. Order placed :-)

I've see on a couple of videos where the chaff falls out into the bean cooler, does this happen with your one or was it a early model and has been rectified.

            • Yes it does happen to mine and I believe it's part of the design as there is a dedicated gap.

              • have the preorder deliveries started yet & anyone got theirs?? what are your thoughts??

                • As far as I know no machines imported via ECA are in the country yet, so no preorders via sponsors have been fulfilled. I contacted ECA the other day to enquire when things would hit the ground but they (understandably) didn't disclose. But trying to read between the lines it appears their feedback has made its way to the factory. Aillio have begun a second run of machines for delivery in December, but these may not be the machines that meet Aus spec, so might be the following manufacturing run. Bit of a ways to go yet, but the wait means more reliable product in this instance as there seems to have been a lot of good feedback from the early adopters.

                  • But people in Aus do own them. You can read their comments around here and elsewhere (Facebook group, Aillio A1 unofficial forum etc.)

                      • Keep in mind that's conjecture, not official info from ECA or Aillio. Aillio did say in their latest newsletter that there had been a delay on the second round of manufacturing "to make some improvements for everybody" but I'd be surprised if that wasn't just some tweaks based on the feedback from early adopters and the building in of the tryer plate more than anything.

I can't wait either. Not that I can fully afford one, but I'll be able to make it far more likely when they're on a shelf somewhere ;-)

"The word" is that the Aussie run will be the first of 2017 production...

                                We shall see...
