Yeah, I knew it would be expensive. These roasters (because so few are made) are virtually hand built and that accounts for the cost....

Now lets see a Corretto - breadmaker $20 (second hand) plus reasonable heatgun $40 - so total of $60...... working on your 0.02% that would make the TN-1 .....

$300,000 dont think so!

2% would make it $3,000- I reckon Im closer.

Nope, sorry - Just realistic....

Quality roasters are very expensive and that one looks really good...... have you thought of a Corretto?

Does a great job and only 2% of the cost

hmm, 2700 euro - isnt that $270....lol - I may have to wait for one that has fallen off the back of a truck, but will wait for Serge to get back to me...you never know!

I know Im pathetic...just look at all the coffee-related stuff Ive bought in the last 6 weeks and am now scourging the net for cups, etc. Im obseesed - pleeeeaasseee....somebody help me!!!

Given that fluidized bed shop roasters are around $6k and they only do 600 gm, I guess expensive means more expensive than this....

have pmd and emailed Serge - still waiting for his response...must have fallen in the roaster  

thought they would be expensive (gulp) though am very interested in further details, tech specs, how flexible they are re temps, do they have a cooling system, etc.
