Andy--thanks for your prompt help.

OK, thanks for that. I'll try those suggestions and get back to you via the contact page.
Thanks,
Peter

Should be an easy fix.
Take the chaff tray and drum out, press [100] then [Start] and see if you get the error again.
Yep, as above. Let me know how you go via the [Contact Us] link at the bottom of this page as it is far faster and more accurate than a random post on a busy forum.
We should have you roasting soon.

Behmor manual says:
err6=DC motor (cylinder) is blocked or damaged.
contact tech support - tech.eu@behmor.com
Is it possible that the drum was catching on something or not sitting level? -may have jammed up somehow?
But if it was turning for the first few minutes, then chances are the motor is faulty.

Behmor err6 support
Hi all,
I was lucky to be given a Behmor roaster as a Christmas present this year. Unfortunately it stopped mid-roast this morning with an 'err6' error. My questions are:
1. What is the best/most appropriate way to get in contact with support? I understand that the roaster was purchased from CoffeeSnobs, which is why I am starting here...
2. Is there anything I can do to sort this out myself?
Thanks in advance,
Peter NolanTags: None
