Second hand ones do pop up occasionally. Keep your eye on the forum and eBay if you’re in Australia or Trade Me in NZ. Also Green Bean House in NZ have sold a few lots of refurbished ones over the last year to people that are on their mailing list.

The question on many lips now is whether we see the Behmor 1kg roaster for sale in Australia before the long-promised Aillio Bullet.

Just saw on facebook, posted a day ago:

"after December" well that could mean any time in the future

Sounds sort of promising though (also note that's USD they're talking, so likely >$4k AUD with GST)

Yep, after December comes another December and another one too.

The reason we don't quote dates is they are rarely met nor even close as there are many cogs in the wheel that don't turn in unison. For example, we placed the order for 1600AB roasters 16 months ago, with still no firm build date for the AU/NZ certified ones.

As for speculation price of the 1kg roaster. Your US $2495 to AU >$4000 conversion at reserve bank rates which no one actually gets and assuming the AU/US dollar will be what it is today (thanks for that Mr Trump!).

Once it's in that price range, the volume of units to cover Australia is small and they will have to be air freighted in (very heavy, very expensive) and our GST and clearance costs are on the total landed price.

I won't try and guess a landing date nor a price but when they exist I'll let those on the notification list know.

It will be good to see one here one day though!

Company quote today "end of Q1 at best for 220v".
Which translates to Easter which quickly becomes June after shipping and clearances.

It will happen, but as you can see quoting dates is silly.
When we can touch them, they exist!
