It will only take you 15-20 mins to take the back and sides off, do the cleaning and replace. You'll be surprised where chaff can find a nice place to rest.

Thanks guys, Ive got some time off over the next couple of weeks, so I’ll go though those steps.
Much appreciated!

Once the sides are off and you have done a bit of a clean and tidy, if that doesn't resolve the issue II would suggest you perform a self test.
Unplug roaster, press and hold START, plug in roaster, release start.
I believe the display sequence of the test is:
Software (Version.Revision)
Voltage selection saved (120 / 220 / 230 / 240)
0000 ON Element
1111 OFF Element, On Afterburner
2222 OFF Afterburner, ON Draw fan (Exhaust Channel Fan)
3333 OFF Draw Fan, ON Internal light
4444 OFF Light, ON Scroll fan (rear of roaster - internal roast chamber air flow)
5555 OFF Scroll Fan, ON Drum
6666 ON Drum Low
7777 OFF Drum, OFF Drum Low, ON DC Fans (right side cover and triangle housing over the side circuit board)
8888 OFF DC Fans
9999 (blank)
054C Exhaust Temperature (in Celsius, minimum temp is 54C)
(blank)
054C Chamber Wall Temperature (in Celsius, minimum temp is 54C)
If the noise coincides with a test step you can provide that info to Andy as a pretty clear cut cause.

If it's a whirring noise it should be associated with the fan or the drum drive.
If it's 5/6 years old and you haven't had the back (and side?) off you are missing one of Behmor's recommended maintenance procedures.
To quote from their maintenance update "We also strongly urge you clean your DC fan’s impellors (see below) every four months or sooner, if necessary. While not true in all locations if you roast in an area of high dust, or other airborne matter the impellor blades of the fan will get coated in the dust, lint etc and will cause the system’s roast times to become extended." The full update is available at http://www.behmor.com/docs/Manual_Up...and_DC_Fan.pdf
Hopefully this may resolve your problem. Failing that, Andy will undoubtedly be able to identify the issue with some additional info.
Good luck.

Behmor roaster making whirring noise
Any help here?
My 5/6yr old Behmor has started making this whirring noise.
I have a video but not sure if the permissions will work?
It comes and goes a bit (constant in the video).
Im fairly consistent cleaning the inside but have never pulled the back open.
Here's a link to the video.
