    Back in the saddle

    Hey gang, finally back roasting on the corretto roaster. Still need to refine the beast to make it more efficient (will post pics later). I did my first roast last night, out in the cold with a new heat gun. Wasn't the worst outcome I have seen (bit dark, took the roast a bit long). Roasted 550ish grams of Ethiopian Sun-dried. Was late and dark so didn't get a pic of the end product.

    Really keen to hear of people's preferred profiles/to bean and where I might be able to access some guidance re: roast profiling. I have a stock profile that is selected in relation to the ambient temp.

    Other plans is to build an automated fluid bed roaster with a mate. Watch this space.
