I found that some baristas competing in latte art comps refrain themselves from caffeine a day before so that they can have a steady hand.

Did not help some though as pressure gets to them. Breathing nice and easy before starting helps to put you into the zone.

Personally i think they should stick a graded AAA Monsoon Malabar Gold as the bullseye so that Warren can just shoot at the bean crack and score Gold.

The coffee and Clever Dripper arrived today!
I am surprised it arrived so quick and it is a Saturday:-)

Again a Big thank you to Andy and Has Bean Steve, plus the others who donated!

I will be competing on Friday 3rd starting at 9.00am (6.00 pm Australian eastern time) and the final (I hope to be in it) will be at 12.00 midday (9.00pm AET).

Caffeine is not banned in shooting, but I will not have a coffee within 12 hours of competing, as caffeine is a stimulant and I don't need that while I am trying to keep very still.

Warren thought that security might be a problem but I'm guessing most of the poms are tea drinkers so there is less chance of security keeping it.
