  • Neli Coffee - Clontarf (Redcliffe Penninsula)

Redcliffes only roastery that I am aware of. I found this place about 2 years ago and thought they were ok. They have improved heaps since then and have a great little set up. It is in the industrial area of Clontarf and have a great spacious area with comfy seats heaps of coffee stuff to look at.

    the address is :

Unit 4, 293 MacDonnell Road, Clontarf, QLD 4020

They also have a loyalty card system for coffee drinks as well as beans which is great. The staff are really enthusiastic and helpful. The owner even delivered a bag of coffee to my door once when I was home sick looking after 3 sick kids. Service doesnt get much better than that!

If you are coming over the Hornibrook Bridge, go straight on Snook St and turn left into MacDonnell. Its very close to the intersection on the left. Parking is off street as well which I like.

Thank you mum2three for this post.
Being on holiday in this wonderful city we decided to drop in yesterday as we continued our coffee tour based on posts by C.Ss. We agree whole heartedly with your post. Easy parking, a wonderful friendly staff and fabulous coffee very reasonably priced. A relaxing area to drink in with great coffee ambience.

Ill second this place too. I dropped in with friends who know the owners about a year or so back and every visit since the coffee has been a step up on the last.
The roasting equipment is first class and i dont know if it makes a difference but even the green beans have there own temp controlled room.

Dropped in on these folk on Saturday morning. Another really good vote from me. The fiancee and I spent the best part of an hour or so watching him roast and gas bagging about different roast profiles.

        Definitely do yourself a favour.

I agree, these guys have continued to grow the quality of the coffee they are producing. One of only a few roasters that I have met that were willing to share some knowledge with me when we started developing our own commercial roasting operation. Lovely people.

So if your over on the peninsula give them a go.

Have just come back from another visit to Clontarf. Good excuse to detour to Neli Coffee for a cup of God's elixir. Neli is like a good wine maturing with age. Superb lattes with a little extra touch of a chocolate freckle today. Such friendly welcoming staff. On facebook. Check for holiday opening times if you locals and interstate visitors want to relax over truly great coffee.

Excellent coffee, and good selection of beans and accessories.
