  • Ltd Espresso & Brew Bar

New coffee spot in Fortitude Valley

    Ltd Espresso and Brew Bar
    362 Brunswick st

Definitely worth the time if you are in the area. Parking is non existent but this speciality coffee shop is worth the effort for the coffeesnob. Not sure of opening times but are open Friday and Saturday night, which made it a great way to end my evening with an affogato with panacotta gelato from the shop next door.

Using ever changing blends and SO's (hence the name 'Ltd') with one Mazzer Robur especially for white coffees and one for black coffee and a La Marzocco Strada EP, Cleanskin coffee roasted beans, siphon and pour over options. Luke Shilling is a passionate owner and a great barista.

Definitely worth a stop in, I'll be going back for sure.

Definitely a good coffee. Had a ristretto and latte there this morning. Excellent drop and Luke is great to talk to. Passionate about his coffee. Also has little bar stools now so you can sit and chat coffee.

Will return whenever I'm in Brisbane.

Agreed with all of the above. Went there yesterday and enjoyed a white and a pour over.

One of Brisbane's best - I go there whenever I can. The dedication & hard work Luke's put into this latest venture is just awesome.

And now after just over 1 year from opening LTD has topped the list on Beanhunter for cafés in Australia.
Worth a stop if you haven't yet

Luke and all the guys there have done an absolutely fantastic job down in the Valley. Good enough to drive around and find a flipping park anyway :P. But in all seriousness, they are serious about their coffee and can do a cracking job of it. The Strada EP looks very nice with the wooden handles and paddles and Reg Barber handles for steam arms . Always a must visit when I am around

I went here yesterday (currently on holliday in Brisbane). It is fabulous. Those guys know their coffee and started up a conversation about their beans without prompting (probably because I ordered a double espresso instead of a milk based drink?)

Someone came in asking if they did iced mochas. They politely offered to add some chocolate to a bottle of cold press, but you could tell they died a little inside....

                  Came here again on Monday...

Delicious espresso on the Kenyan (can't remember specific origin), floral aroma but sweet balanced body, piccolo on Saint Blend, nice as ever! And then a sch-long (short long black?) on the kenyan again.

This place blows my mind each time I come, and they work some magic with the profiling on the Strada EP. Was nice having a chat to barista Chris/Josh too

FYI there is no 'C' in Shlong.

I was back here again on the weekend -- one last stop before heading back to Melbourne.

This time I had a filter (V60), which was superb. Being a hot day, my missus and sister each had a cold press (I think cold drip + milk + sugar), which I tasted and was also lovely.

I'll definitely be heading here when I'm ever in the valley.

I have the fortune of working about 250 metres from LTD, and I'm thankful for it every week! I've been going to LTD since they opened, and I still haven't had a bad coffee from there, even though the staff is growing, Luke does a great job training up the other staff making sure they pour a good coffee every time. They're extremely friendly guys, always up for a chat and have so much passion for the coffees they make. I do pourovers and syphons at home and they will always give me tips on how to improve, and talk me through the process when I order one off them. So good to see so many great options in the valley recently, LTD is certainly a favourite.
