On Holidays there recently, tried Canteen, Had Yirgacheffe S.O one day, Mountain Top the next. Good Coffee.
Also tried commune, excellent! and also down the street from them is street corner espresso, excellent food and coffee.
There is also a roaster on the one of the main streets in burleigh heads who are good.(forgot their name)

Not too sure around BH but if you're in Broadbeach give "no name lane" a visit. I was there in feb and they served up great espresso.

Otago, check out James Street, its got a couple of good coffee joints lined up along it.Some run by pretentious tossers, and some run by layed back groovers. All in all,an enjoyable experiance."Quest" was a goody.I aint been down for a while so It may have changed.

heading back to BH in a couple of weeks, Will repost the name of the shop I forgot. On holiday, I get up early and just follow hipsters. They will usually lead you to the good watering holes.

Sorry forgot to include that commune as mentioned above is a good start. it is not on the main street, it is on the highway just out of the main area of BH.
street corner espresso is in the same strip of shops.
