Pixel Coffee Brewers--Leederville

newly opened Pixel run by industry legends Kaya McCarthy and Juliana Nobre has opened up on the ex Smuggled Seeds space on Oxford Street, Leederville.
The light and bright fitout has given the space an airy relaxed atmosphere and given the small cafe a feeling of spaciousness.
The pure white Synesso and matching grinders and Uber boiler look great, a tempting range of cakes and tasty food are on offer served by knowledgable and very hospitable crew--def worth a visit or two--check it out!!!

Dropped by today. The interior is really nice, definitely one of the best around Perth in my view.
Great that they are open on a Sunday, was loads of people there as well. Seems to be a lot of local support. All the wait staff were very friendly.

Tried the batch brew, single-origin espresso and a pour over. They had offerings from Proud Mary + 5 senses...Espresso and pour over were on the mark - particularly the pour over (Rwandan, can't remember which roastery), batch brew had a lot of room for improvement, hopefully it was just a one-off.

Keen to find out where they got the pour-over kettle from, it looked really interesting but didn't really suit the rest of the place (guess it's hard to find a pastel blue or white kettle) and wondered why they opted to use a ceramic Wave over the beautiful (and fast heating) copper ones they had laying about, will have to ask next time when I've got more time.

Will definitely be back!

Dropped in yesterday for a latte and a snack and wasn't disappointed. Pretty busy for 1pm on a Tuesday (I.e. Full) but the service was great and the food and coffee lived up to the reviews here. I'll be back for sure; this is the best coffee in Leederville at the moment.
