So I have one of Eric S's ridiculously overpriced E61 group head thermometers, that I carelessly installed and over tightened into the group head screw thread. I had to do an emergency screw extraction of the snapped off threaded adapter.
Now I'm left with a fully functional thermometer that will need a replacement adapter or thermowell. See pic reading room temperature.
