  • Presumed Sold (Bris) Eureka Mignon Specialita

Are you sick and tired of scrolling through posts, looking for the perfect grinder, only to be left disappointed?

Tired of looking at different retailers and thinking hmmm, im not 100% sure?

Well, look no more, because here is without a doubt the best grinder for its price point, my Eureka Mignon Specialita.

    The backstory:
I purchased this pinacle of a grinder in January this year, after ordering a niche zero through an Australian retailer in September 2020 and began playing the indefinite waiting game that ensued.

I was using my commandante c40 for my daily espressos, that was until chtistmas day hit, which involved making 10 coffees after christmas lunch, which nearly killed me.

With a busy social calendar in January, and a very real possibility that my niche wouldn't arrive at all, I decided to purchase what I was was the best value grinder on the market, my Eureka Mignon Specialita.

Jump forward to last week and my niche turned up out of the blue, and with much debate debich literally ended up in a best of 3 heads or tails) i decided to keep the niche and get rid of my Specialita.

This means you're in a position to capitalise on an amazing machine.

    The information:
had it for almost 5 months, make on average 2-3 drinks a day, and put through 6.4kg of beans in that time.

I typically single dose with it, and it grinds about 18 grams in 10 seconds.

It's grinds are beautiful and fluffy, never really had a bad shot from it.

    The unfortunate:
It did turn up with a scratch on the back, for which the retailer I purchased it from (who will remain nameless) blamed on me. It doesn't impact the machine at all, and visible on the photos.

How much to acquire this amazing thing:
I purchased it for $869 (giggidy) back in January, looking to sell it for $750.

Based in Brisbane and would prefer pick up, but I guess if you want to continue with this machine's legacy and not based in Brisbane, i could probably work postage out at your expense.

Any questions, please feel free to ask.

I think in the past year since I bought mine...I think I paid near $900 December 2020. It was peak COVID price. In the meantime, other models have come out and the Specialita, although highly regarded, has dropped in price...pretty normal.

It is a great machine but buying brand new is always nice and anyone selling really needs to price it at about what people can easily get brand new, locally with GST and shipping...70 - 80 % of new price.

It is an excellent machine though so negotiating to the last dollar is probably not critical. These are solid, really solid machines.

Agreed. You can pick up a Specialita on sale for $750 if you keep your eye out - and it won't have a big scratch on the back.
