    Machine is from 2012.

Yesterday did a replacement of E61 group internals, also new dispersion screen, cleaned up the copper piping a bit. Still outstanding is the silicon hoses. Now trialing if the maintenance will alter my user experience.

Yes it is. Taking lockdown 6.0 as a good time to do some maintenance (group rebuild plus replacing some silicon tubes)

Seem unable to edit the start post but I'm able to edit other of my posts, nvm.

I bought the machine from a fellow CS'er somewhere end of 2020. He has had it since he bought it from TC in 2012. In my 8ish months of ownership the only thing I've done to it is feed it brita jug water, change out the grouphead seal for a silicon one and regularly chemically backflushed (including Molykote lube on cams).

To earlier comments about the grouphead temperature, I've added a thermometer in the grouphead, but still the temps do fluctuate a bit.

Ahh, sorry just spotted your question, I’m not sure if either conduct “training sessions” as such but suggest you shoot either or both an enquiry and see if you can schedule a one on one for an hour or two. Obviously you are having issues but if you tell us (start a new thread perhaps) I’d be very surprised if you don’t get the guidance you need and if all else fails offload the Izzy.......
PS. If GH temp is an issue grab a GH thermometer as it will remove some of the “flying blind” from the equation.....

^^^^^ this..... you’re in Melbourne would suggest speaking with Casa Espresso or TC....

Do you know how old the machine is? Has it ever been serviced? If you can provide more info would help perspective buyers to make a decision sooner.
