  • Withdrawn For sale: Heathmont, VIC: Sunbeam Cafe Series Conical Burr Grinder

This is a great grinder for those who want good results on a budget, as it gets all the fundamentals right:

    - Precision conical burr grinding gears
    - 25 grind settings so it works for all coffee styles (espresso, filter, pour over, cold drip, aeropress, stovetop, etc)
    - Easy to fine tune and improve your coffee
    - Compact size and modern look is home kitchen friendly
    - Just cleaned and looking great

There are a few minor marks on the exterior, hence the great value pricing.
This unit is working well, but as I have upgraded, this is your chance to grab a bargain and improve the coffee in your cup today.
Does not include the plastic container or the group handle holder (you don't need either).

Of course, spending $500+ on a grinder will give you even better results, I'm not pretending it is in that league.

Sunbeam RRP $219 - will sell for $50. Pickup from Heathmont, Vic. Please send me a private message if interested. Thank-you.

    Last call if anyone's interested.
For beginners yet to buy a grinder, this is a great way to start out. You'll be amazed at the difference vs shop ground stale beans.
Even for coffee snobs this would be good dedicated pour over machine :-)

Hey there, can you please add some photos?

I am interested if it's still available. I'd like to get it for my mum.. she had an old Sunbeam coffee machine, and she has the $99 Sunbeam grinder (but it's YEARS old and doesn't really grind finely enough anymore.) I convinced her to get the Gaggia Classic Pro. Now I need to convince her to get a new grinder, which she is less fussed about (even though it's the most important part).

So this grinder and the price might be perfect for her.

Question though - does it work well for espresso? My mum only ever drinks flat whites/lattes.. and her old Sunbeam grinder just doesn't go fine enough.

I also wonder, can the burrs be replaced in this at all?

        Also interested for my mum!

No need for espresso finesse. Just stovetop Moka Express and Turkish. Maybe Aeropress eventually, too.

How does it go for superfine Turkish-style powder? That is, what's the finest possible grind this machine can do without destroying the burrs?

        Cheers
