Unfortunately the partner is getting me to move this along sooner rather than later.
Price drop to $5200, happy to negotiate, especially surrounding accessories.
Cheers

I definitely was thinking about the profitec 800 (first version) when I initially bought the Londinium, but ultimately chose the Londinium of course.
The thermistor upgrade was done as the older LR24 had an old Sirai switch that would loudly ‘click’ when it triggered the boiler every minute (to maintain temp stability and boiler pressure). The thermistor upgrade is now present on all stock LR24 thankfully. I did do the thermistor upgrade myself, which was done under guidance of a video made by Reiss, as well as video calling him. No issues with it of course.
The good thing about the Londinium is that I have learnt to be much more comfortable about getting into the machine myself, and learning a little bit about the mechanisms involved to make delicious espresso.

Wow. That's amazing. I've been looking at it online...and also the Profitec 800
what's the thermistor upgrade? Did you do that yourself?

For those in Victoria interested, I do plan on doing a Melbourne drive in the next 1-2 months (dates still pending). So a potential delivery option is available...

[ADL] Londinium LR24 lever machine + accessories
Unfortunately it has come time for me to sell my much loved Londinium LR24 lever machine, which comes with loads of accessories.
I have come across an opportunity to upgrade to another machine and am hoping to sell this to fund that purchase. It is over a year old, and has had its servicing, done with advice from Reiss (the Londinium owner). I have changed over the group piston seals, and also replaced the non-return valve recently, and it is working as it was day 1.
This machine also has the thermistor upgrade, making the machine more quiet when maintaining temp.
Accessories to highlight include (worth more than $500) -
1x extra naked portafilter (total of 2)
1x double spout portafilter
1x londinium button tamper
1x londinium distribution tool
loxeal lube and lock sealers
service kit
1x extra IMS londinium basket (total of 2)
2x extra IMS fine mesh shower screens (total of 3)
lots of spare piston seals and group portafilter seals
Has had near daily use, with approximately 2-3 espressos/day. I also always use an aero press filter on top of my pucks for cleanliness reasons. Definitely will regret parting with this machine as it makes such delicious coffee. It is an extremely forgiving machine when making espresso, making even the lightest of roasts delicious.
Based in Enfield, South Australia. However, happy to negotiate shipping since I still have the original boxes, but being mindful that this machine is a heavy beast and comes in a large box.
Asking for $5500. Feel free to reach out to ask any questions about the machine.
Separately, I am also looking at selling a custom drip tray that I had made specially for the Londinium LR24. This drip tray has a cut out to fit a Specht Design aluminium frame for the Acaia Lunar scale (see photos). It costed me about $500 to have this done with Specht design, but happy to part with it for $300 on top of asking price.

GLWS
