Thanks for your interest cafelazio! At this stage I'm looking for a local buyer who can pick up in person. The HG1 isn't really postage friendly (weight and moving parts) without the original packaging, which unfortunately I do not have.

I can confirm the grinder has a stepped adjusted ring. However, as already mentioned the steps are so small that I never found myself unable to perfectly dial in a bean.

Ahhh didn't realise there was a version before the one I used to have (same as in this ad). Can't believe the weird braille markings were a second release and it took them another release to just put numbers on it!

My recently purchased early HG-1 is stepless.
However it means that one needs to really crank down on the holding screw to stop the burr holder from closing down.

I don’t think any of the Weber Workshops grinders are stepless. The difference between notches is small enough that it doesn’t make much of a difference though.

Please excuse my ignorance, but does the braille grind guide means it is not stepless?

started a topic Presumed Sold [MEL] HG-One Grinder + Blind Tumbler

[MEL] HG-One Grinder + Blind Tumbler

    Hi all,

For sale is my beloved HG1 hand grinder.
This is the 2014 model with the braille grind guide.

It comes with the original blind tumbler and never used sweeper arm.

Condition is excellent-mint. I am the second owner.
The original TiN burrs have ground around 50-60kg of beans.

No original packaging - therefore pickup only at this stage (Mornington area)

    Asking price is $950 firm.

    Thanks for looking - cheers,
    Pete
