  • SOLD [Perth] La Marzocco GS3 AV

    Upgraditis has visited the Alchemist household and alas, my “end game” (a.k.a. “No-dear-I’ll-NEVER-buy-another-espresso-machine-ever-again” machine is up for sale.

    Built in March 2016, this La Marzocco GS3 AV has been owned by me from new, and has enjoyed a remarkably leisurely life (three coffees per day) and has always had pure rain water running through its reservoir and boilers. The machine was serviced recently (out of courtesy, not out of necessity) and was confirmed as presenting like new - inside and out!

    As this was *supposed* to be my ultimate machine, no expense was spared in customising it. In addition to the machine itself, the sale includes;
    - Laser etched La Marzocco side panels (imported directly from LM) - $895 rrp
    - Walnut group-head cap and steam tip knob (both imported directly from LM) - $275 rrp
    - Recessed drip tray grate, for level (flat) fitting of an Acaia Luna scale - $450 rrp
    - IMS nano shower screen - $50 rrp
    All up, the replacement cost of everything comes in at well over $12,000!

    Asking price is $8,500.

    While a local pickup is preferred (Perth, southern suburbs), I’d be happy to work with anyone who wants to ship it at their expense (provided you organise shipping logistics, sourcing of packaging etc).

        No doubt in my mind SM......the average mature Aust Female is happiest when she is with her husband whilst he is making her fabulous espresso.
        For instance my wife's little legs cant motor quick enough when she knows 'the coffee's ready...for you !'
        Do the decent thing by her .....go on....Let her buy you Al's GS3 for chrissy!

            With delivery of the new machine around the corner, it’s time to bump and a BIG drop in the price to encourage a quick sale.

            $6,500.

            Be quick - this really is an immaculate machine!
