    Lecn1302,

This is one of the great grinders from a traditional honourable company that actually values and supports it's products, (as opposed to the new norm of trying to bamboozle you with insulting BS).
We have had the baby version of this grinder for about 4 years with SSP red speed burrs and love it to death.
You won't get a better build standard, (engineering wise) fast reliable and whisper quiet - built to last forever, (unlike a lot of CoffeeSnobs members).
You have a rare insight into the differences between the Kafatek models - I for one would really appreciate your thoughts on the trade offs for traditional medium roasts in espresso flat whites and long blacks, especially the new Shuriken burr sets.

started a topic Presumed Sold Kafatek Monolith Flat Max - SSW burrs

Kafatek Monolith Flat Max - SSW burrs

Unfortunately it has come a time for me to part with my Kafatek Monolith Flat Max, that is fitted with 98mm SSW burrs.

This is an excellent end game titan grinder that outclasses many of the options out there in my opinion. My opinions have come from trying many end game grinders out there including the EG-1.

On reference to the James Hoffmann video regarding the Monolith Flat Max, it is probably the best espresso grinder out there, and even so when fitted with the SSW burrs as well. I would recommend watching that video for some extra information. The sweetness that this grinder brings out of coffees, especially very light roasted coffee, continues to amaze me.

Reason for selling is that I’ve got too many Kafatek grinders and this has been mostly unused for the better part of 6 months. I prefer the MC4 (now fitted with Shurikone burrs) for espresso and the Flat Max with coarse burrs for filter. (As you can see, I’m a big fan of Kafatek products for my grinding needs)

This Flat Max comes with additional beautiful cosmetic finishes, including an all black anodised body and a red top plate. Usual accessories for each Kafatek grinder will come along, as well as a leather mat that will protect the grinder from any portafilter mishaps.

Landing price for this is now close to $6200 or so.

I am asking for $5000, for pick up in Enfield, South Australia. Open to shipping interstate as well, as I still have the original boxes. Feel free to reach out for any questions.
