  • SOLD MEL- Londinium LR24 Lever Machine (latest model)

As some of you would know I've been the owner of this great Londinium since September 2021.
Moving from other prosumer machines including LMLM, GS3, Decent, E61s dual or HXs I can assure you that this is the easiest and most forgiving machine I've ever used. it's almost impossible to make bad shots with it :-)
This version of LR24 has the thermistor upgrade (no pressureswitch), Wi-Fi module including preinfusion pressure adjustment and on-off timer from the app

As an espresso aficionados I like to trying things out (until I can afford it). As part of the process I now have to move on from this since I have another machine and currently waiting for another one on back order.
It was normally coupled with some high end grinders EG1, Kafatek Flat and MC3, P100 + some other conicals.
Unlike some other machine the Londinium can shine with any roast or grinder.
Generally I'd pull Medium to Light roast with ratio from 1:1.5 to 1:3. By tweaking the preinfusion pressure you are able to control the flavour and the length of the shot.
3-4 bars works well with medium roast
5-6 bars is great for light roast or longer shots
Something that I discovered through the app, you can kill the pressure during the pre-infusion and create a Blooming shot which can produce amazing result.
Only been used with filter water and regularly flushed the steam boiler
I apologies in advance for the quality of the pictures. If you have any questions let me know
