Selling an Isomac Zaffiro that needs some tlc.

Had this as a project to restore, but we might be putting our house on the market soon so need to prioritise space.

As is, it is in great shape externally and just needs a new steam thermostat to work (these are pretty cheap).

But the brew lamp should be replaced, as should the mushroom (the chrome is starting to flake), and the boiler has some pinhole leaks (see photos). Also missing 2 screws.

The thermostat, mushroom and lamp wouldn’t cost too much to replace, you could get decent change from $100.

I’ve been quoted about $540 for a brand new boiler. Alternatively you could go the epoxy route or if you have the skills (or friends who do) you could repair the existing one.

If you went with all new parts, you’d basically have a brand new machine for about $1k all up. (The adjustable brew thermostat is fine, as is the pump.)

    Pick up only

Should also say, includes single and double portafilters + baskets

And the pressure gauge works but isn’t calibrated, not sure if it can an be adjusted…

Finally managed to find the JB Weld SteelStik I was going to use (or will if can’t sell) to fix up the boiler leaks.

According to the packet, it’s drinking water safe, and rated to 4000psi (275 bar) and 176c.

      Will include with the machine.
