Selling as I’m drinking mostly filter now so I'm not making much espresso-based coffee. I now have a dedicated multi-purpose hand grinder which can cover occasional espresso use.
Bought this as second-hand but it actually works just as good as a new one. I upgraded from a Eureka Specialita, and it has been a game changer for the quality of my coffee. Also I've installed a new clump crusher recently so it's smooth as fk with no clump at all.
Burrs are still in very good condition as shown in pic. It grinds ~20g in 7s to pull great espresso at 9 bars. Given the RPM is only at 900 (this is branded as VA rather than NS, so it rotates at a slower rate which is actually good for home use), I believe the burr set is still in its strong age and can do its job at home well for a very long time.
Why did I (or would you) buy this for home? Two: a) This 74mm Titanium-coated burr set is one of the best that Eureka has made as the burr geometry/design is very efficient; b) Based on that it grinds at only 900RPM, which is good for reducing heat that is transferred to your ground coffee. The only matter is it has a large hopper, but if you make espresso on a daily basis like I used to be, putting roughly 200g of coffee beans in it each time should make no problem.
Asking for $1000 but bargains are welcomed via DM. Please also DM for any further details. This thing is HEAVY so I only accept pick-up. Instant bank/PayPal transfer only. I can make you a cup of coffee before you make the transfer so no worries on DOA.
