Hi,
Way too many machines in the house - no room to actually cook food.
Miss Silvia has to go unfortunately.
Purchased new in Aug 2005 (original receipt), not used that much, maybe 1 shot in the morning for 18 months (max. machine on time of about 10 mins) and just been occupying space for the last 20+ months.
Not the current model, but previous - so temp surfing needs to be managed - just makes it more fun.
The benefit of this model is the bullet-proof, almost unbreakable parts they used (which I understand are longer-lasting than some of the critical and expensive bits in the new models).
Has been well cared for - de-scaled every 2nd month, back-flushed chemically every fortnight. Had a simple and quick life - never left on for more than 10 mins each morning.
Chasis perfect (no scratches or dings). Grouphead just a few small pieces of plating starting to lift (like about 2-3mm) around the lugs - as expected from "tight dosing".
Steamer wand very clean. Steamer gasket may need to be replaced in next 12-18 months (blame my strong hands) but thats a minor job and parts are like < $20.
Original box, warranty card and manual. Cant find the single basket (probably used on one of the other 8 machines I have).
Comes with $100 worth of booty....
1kg fresh roasted Columbian Supremo (2x 500g),
1kg fresh roasted Barista Blend (2x 500g),
1kg fresh roasted El-Salvador High-Grown Rainforest Alliance Blend (2x 500g),
1x 600ml brand new Milk jug (still in box)
1x brand new milk thermometer (still in box)
$500 - perfect for a Xmas present.
Just to make sure its clean, I will perform a chemical backflush and soak the shower screen in espresso cleaner before it is picked up.
Melbourne based - prefer a local buyer, but can box for you - shipment your responsibility and cost (meaning you organise it, etc.) - note you will need to consider shipment as 2x boxes, machine fits perfectly (and snugly) in its original box and booty will be packed in a seperate box.
Thanks,
Jeff
