!!SOLD!! Rancilio Rocky doserless grinder

Hi All - Im reluctantly parting with my treasured Rocky doserless grinder as I no longer  use it

Its around two years old but has had very litle usage, as Ive upgraded twice since I bought it, and its mainly been used as my default decaf grinder

The machine is in mint condition, has been regularly cleaned, and has no visible scratch marks, save for a few minor scuff marks on the base plate, where the portafilter rests

Im not sure where the forks (that you rest the pf on) have gone to, but Ill have a good look for them

Likewise the manual shouldnt be too hard to track down

Im asking $300 for the machine, inspection welcome

And Id prefer pick-up from Coburg, or you can organise courier at your own cost

Ill post some pics if I can figure out how

Feel free to message me in relation to same

Ill even through in 250g of home roast for the lucky buyer!

the forks are pretty useless anyway, as you need to rotate the pf somewhat to get an even dose, and the forks just get in the way for that

and if I cant find the manual Im certain that I can download one from the web...

Agreed. I took out the fork about 3 days after I bought the grinder and it has stayed out ever since.

Any luck with finding the forks? Is it true that they can be used to activate the machine by pushing them in with the PF so that the machine operates in a semi-automatic way?

Ive got one (few months old) and the forks dont activate the grinding

I prefer it without the forks as well, they restrit the PF movement too much, as I prefer the PF closer to the doser spout to get better control over distribution

yeah the forks just tend to get in the way, and then the grind ends up everywhere except in the pf! Its good tot to be able to move the pf around a bit to ensure an even dose

Ive already got a Compak k8, a Cimbali Magnum, and a Mazzer Super Jolly as part of my home grinder arsenal - so Im pretty well sorted there!

At work we run with a couple of Compak K10 (world barista championship model with steel forks) - so I feel that I am very well blessed in the grinder department!
