Hi All
I have, for sale an old (Circa 2001) Dell Latitude Laptop I have especially set up for Coffee Roast monitoring.
The Specs:
Pentium II 300, 128MB Ram, 12GB HD, Running MicroXP V0.82 (google it)so it runs FAST.
I have configured the serial port to 2400 baud as required by the roast monitor software and installed the CoffeeSnobs Roast Monitor Software. It has a few other utilities installed most of which i have not investigated. Firefox Etc.. DMM and probe NOT INCLUDED.
But Wait Theres More:
Comes with battery, (lasts about an hour when fully charged)power pack, Belkin Wi-Fi (802.11b only) PCMCIA Card and Software installed so you can hook up to your existing wireless network, an el-cheapo laptop bag and a Logitech 3 button optical USB scroll mouse. Built in CD (Working)
The Good:
Perfect cheapie laptop for roast monitoring and mucking about on the internet. Perfect operating order!
The Bad:
Cracked hinges (See Pic) so you need to be gentle when opening and closing (been like this for 5+ yrs since i have had it and it has become no worse because i am gentle).
One Pixel does not work on the LCD screen. (you can only see it as it boots up, then its hidden in the task bar)
Previous owner stuck a snowboard brand sticker on the lid and its a bugger to remove so i left it.
Lid catch lock is broken.
The Price:
$250.00 plus delivery (your choice of method or pickup welcome from Bundaberg QLD Weekdays while I am at work)
