Thanks for replies, have now sourced a machine. I am still looking for a grinder in the Rocky mould quality wise. Price range $250-300.

I have an extremely good one that I had hoped to keep for an additional few months to compare with my other grinder (Mazzer Mini E) however could let you have it now if you need it immediately.

I am, however, in Sydney so you would need to freight it down there. Its not a big deal to freight stuff around these days though and comes with the original box. It would certainly match the description of having been owned by an anally-retentive perfectionist though  ;D Its a doser model which I specifically ordered to deal with the clumping issues Rockys are known for. The burr carrier has been "plumbers taped" as per typical Rocky mod, the doser also had the treatment so it sweeps perfectly clean. I am away with my job a lot so it didnt get used all that much; I just demand superb coffee when Im home  ;D It was last disassembled and cleaned about 4 weeks ago when I took the opportunity to check the tolerances of the burrs/carrier etc and found them all spot on. Its had about 1.5kg of coffee through it since cleaning, maybe a touch less. The condition is near new, just a tiny scratch on the hopper lid I think I may have done with the knife when I opened the box  > Indeed it actually runs better than new as the tape on the burr carrier removes all the slop (hint; go look at a Rocky in a store and grab the hopper. It will move from side to side and it shouldnt, thats what the tape removes).

Anyway not sure if thats any good to you. As mentioned I was planning to keep it but if it helps you out send me a PM. Its presently in its box but I can always take it out and photograph it if you like, however it looks just like the demo model in the stores ... without all the grotty finger marks

Mate - if you can get a good Rocky for $250-$300...well grab it!!! I certainly wouldnt sell mine for that!
