UPDATE:

While there was lots of interested parties, as stated above, most were checking as to $$$ and or delivery options or if the wife was supportive  etc etc etc.

I spent some time trying to put PMs in to a date order and reading between the lines as to the actual commitment...  I responded to all and those that got back confirmed their status ie. Window shopping or out of the running or still interested etc.  A number never replied.....

Thus I formally apologise ALL and in particular to any  members feel that they have missed out and may be feeling put out.

I did not expect the trickle to turn into a rush....

If I can make a comment that will assist all in the future; it would be...

If your interested and your FIRM on you commitment, but need to confirm.

Send a PM - State that you want it and that it be put on Hold and that you will get back ASAP ( give a time frame) and then keep in contact.

Stating your interested and no reply or a comment in the forum does not make it easy for the seller...  If the item, turns out to be popular and there is a lots of interest.

Sorry to hijack the thread...  But having missed out my self on previous occasions... I can understand the feelings, when internally - you might think you have it.


Once again, to all who were interested THANK YOU

I currently have two firm commitments  on standby.  1: Brisbane  (c) and  2: Just south of Rocky (r)  ( you guys know who you are and thanks for the understanding)

At this stage the item is SOLD pending payment and collection..  

If not concluded by COB the 12th July...  I will let every one know.

I too have been in conference with the Minister of Home Affairs & Finance - but my proposal was unsuccessful .
Her reply was - aren`t you building one yourself? & do you really need it?

If people realy want this and are living on the wrong side of town... Ie outside of Brisvagus I can Pack for a pick-up... and maybe even deliver to the Airport - if you arrange and fund $$$ for the courier etc

However as I am off to Mel for a week... First in best dressed....

Thus I can weigh it all and give sizes on my return... ..

Ah, Ive worked out your tactics - shell be so shocked about the Prado that shell either walk in the door and not notice the new machine on the bench, or shell notice it and go "meh, $2k as opposed to $35k - it pales in comparison!"

Not to mention the fuel bill!
