!!SOLD!! Pending payment from Fancypants
My Upgrade approval came with one condition – “Get rid of everything coffee you have to pay for a small portion of the new shiney thing!”
So up for Grabs is my much loved Miss Silvia with PID, it has been taken care of like one of the family, it has performed incredibly well and has taught me so much about coffee, its true, the silvia is a steep learning curve, but I believe there is no other way to truly appreciate and learn all the necessary elements.
I got sick of Temperature surfing so I installed my own PID and it works perfectly, you never have to worry or wonder where the boiler temp is at, never have to purge to cool or hit the steam button to heat it up, just grind dose tamp lock and pull.
It is an older silvia, around 5 years old, I have replaced several little seals in the steam system to stop the drips, the group seal and a few other little bits and pieces here and there thanks to coffeeparts.
It comes with:
- the original group handle
- PID installed and preset perfectly
- double and single baskets
- blind filter for back flushing
- 58mm convex tamper as pictured(not the Pullman)
- 300ml milk jug with thermometer
- 2 Di Bella Cups and Saucers
Miss Silvia has been well maintained with daily backflushing with once a fortnight chemical backflush, and the boiler and lines are descaled one a quarter with caffetto. It is in good nick, but has the usual usage marks and scuffs on the cup warmer and drip tray, I have also stripped back the frame completely and reprimed and sprayed with heat resistant durable black flat enamel paint, looks original, the reason was a touch of surface rust under the drip tray……and I hate rust…..so I repainted the whole frame! Bit OCD? Maybe :
Price is $400 total, pick up is preferable but will post, buyer to organise and pay, or I will combine it with the Rocky doser that I have also advertised here for $650 plus postage and handling if applicable.

Up for grabs is my beloved Rocky, it has served me well but upgraditis has struck in the way of a GPP and BEST combo!,the Rocky has served me extremely well without a hickup, burrs are sharp as ever, the only things i have done to it are the plumbers tape mod to tighten the burrs up on the thread and the click clack lid to get rid of any loose grinds in the chute, i do have the original lid aswell.
Im asking $350, it is in great condition and only 18 months old no dents or major scratching, always used a cloth under the fork when dosing.

and yes it will be completely cleaned inside and out prior to sale
