After recently suffering from the upgradits problem, my Gaggia Classic + grinder are now for sale.

The package consists of:

-Gaggia Classic approx 5 years old, descaled regularly,but suffers from the drippy steam wand
- single and double cup filters + filter holder
- plastic tamper
- measuring spoon
- original video for operating instructions
- original instruction manual
- Gaggia milk jug
- 2 Gaggia espresso cups - never used
- stainless steel tamper
- 1 sachet descaler
- Gaggia MDF Grinder approx 2 years old with a copy of instructions

Cost: $550 $500 for complete package!

Can either be collected from Boronia area or can arrange a suitable place convenient to both for hand over with in reason!!

Reminds me of my Gaggia baby when i look at that VHS tape! lol..

Gaggia classic will work quite well with a silvia steam wand mod!

What condition is the grinder in? Are the burrs in need of replacing?

Also, the dripping steam wand - is this just a problem likely to be solved by replacing a valve or the steam arm itself?

Hi

To the best of my knowledge the grinder is fine and nothing needs replacing. The whole package was being used and we were happy with it until I got the bug to upgrade! The dripping steam wand can be fixed by replacing the valve although Ive read on this site about it being replaced with a Silvia wand?? We didnt bother replacing the valve as this seems to be an inherent drip with the Gaggia and I just placed a cloth under the wand when I turned the machine on. Perhaps someone can shed some light on this for us.
