  • !!SOLD!!: VBM Domobar Super and Mazzer Mini grinder

Up for sale is my single group HX Vibiemme.

I bought this machine second hand from Craig at 9Bar Espresso about 5 months ago. He informed me that it was about 4 years old at that time. He performed a thermo stability mod, scaced it and upgraded the P stat.

It works well, makes a very nice coffee and is very functional (lots of steam, water on demand etc).

Only selling it because I bought this: http://coffeesnobs.com.au/YaBB.pl?num=1269659855/0#0

I am located in Granville NSW and am asking $1500 ono.
Prefer local pick up but can pack and ship if needed.

Not being a smart alec, but is this the same as the unit that sells for around $1500 new?

No Tony, this model is an HX machine (heat exchange) which means the RRP is roughly $1000 more than the model in your link.

No worries, thanks for clearing that up.

I read some instructions on these machines and it says to warm it up for 45mins to an hour before use....is that just a recommended thing or mandatory?

30 min is usually fine, though you can speed it up with some flushing and tea towel over the group head if youre desperate.

Yes its best to let it warm up. I usually have mine on a timer that turns it on about 1/2 hour before I want to use it.
