    Hi,

Extra bits and bobs from the first machine are:
single & double filter baskets (dual floor)
    double filter basket (single floor)
    tamper
    single pouring spout
So you will end up with 2 x all the above.
(note : the group handle and the single filter basket were with the original machine when it was sent off - so there is NOT a bonus/extra group handle)

In addition theres half a packet of both Sunbeam Descaler tablets and Sunbeam Cleaning tablets.

    Postage to Tassie about $40
    (via smartsend.com)

    From 3057 to 7000
Item No Description Weight (kgs) Dimensions (Centimetres)
    1 Carton 15 40cm x 40cm x 50cm
Total Freight Price: AUD$39.24 (Inclusive of GST & Fuel Levy)

    Cheers,

    OK.

    Still no interest
    So a final price drop...
             $400.00
For which you get the brand new, plastic wrapped, still in (now dusty) box EM6910 and a heap of bits and bobs from the original machine.

Last chance on the machine.  Itll become an xmas gift for the in-laws if it doesnt sell at this price.

Transfer of Warranty is in teh fine print and most DO NOT..

However Warranty on teh PUMPS may be OK..

Not a bad price... but on the edge.

I really cant believe it hasnt been snapped up yet!!! :-?

$450.00 for a new EM6910 is excellent value, considering they are $700 in the shops! I had one for 8 months and only sold it because I upgraded but found it to be a great entry level machine to learn on.

Tony, it might be worth getting some advice from either Anger Management or Thundergod about the warranty - it may be that the unit still comes with the remainder of your old warranty, if there was any left, or even re-set with the new machine? Not sure about it, but it would be worth chasing up and finding out for certain.

    Cheers
    Di

    Re: FS: Sunbeam EM6910

These machines do make EXCELLENT coffee.

I have used one every day for the past 6 months without any MAJOR issues....yeah they do have a few quirks, but for this price its great value.

I had less success with my 6910 when i was using the standard sunbeam conical grinder, but since upgrading to a Rocky, I get consistently good shots.

The biggest let down on these machines would be the steam output, but its certainly useable and better than anything else you will find at $400 - $450.

started a topic !!SOLD!!: Sunbeam EM6910

    !!SOLD!!: Sunbeam EM6910

I have a Sunbeam EM 6910 for sale.

This machine was sent to me by Sunbeam Aust as a replacement machine.  (Yes, Ive learnt my lesson about purchasing first runs of new models.)   I suffered repeated problems with my original machine and finally wrote a letter/manuscript/novel to Sunbeam about it.

I purchased a VBM Domobar Super while waiting for the last repair job- it had extended beyond a month.  So the EM6910 has been superseded and needs to be sold so I can upgrade the grinder.  ;D

As indicated, this is a replacement machine.  My original 6910 was onsent from the repair shop to Sunbeam and this brand new machine showed up my doorstep via Aussie Post as its replacement.

Consequently you get two of everything that comes standard with the machine - with the exception of the group handle and the single filter basket as they went to the repair shop with the original machine.
Theres also half a packet of Sunbeam Descaling tablets and half a packet of Sunbeam Cleaning tablets.

Please Note: I havent had any correspondence from Sunbeam other than a phone call informing me they were sending me a new machine.  Therefore I cannot provide any documentation for warranty purposes.  My assumption is, that being a replacement (in lieu of repair), even though its brand new, it doesnt get covered by warranty.

Asking Price  $480.00   (considering lack of warranty)

Its still in the postal box it arrived in, so I can post (at buyers expense) if required.

Pleace PM and/or post a reply if interested.
